Usually WHOIS engines show nameservers that are in the registry. While looking up the .si zone shows also nameservers that are in .si top level DNS. In this way it can be very useful in case of errors. If you want to redelegate your domain name and WHOIS result shows different namerservers, it means delegation tests were not successful and your domain name still points to nameservers that are in .si zone records and not the ones that are in the registry.

You can enter any type of domain nameserver for a .si domain name, it can be IPv4 or IPv6. But be careful! If a domain nameserver has both addresses (IPv4 and IPv6), both have to be configured properly. Domain name will not be delegated and activated if a domain nameserver responds only to IPv4 queries and not IPv6.
